Since launching the C-Card in 2006, Patrick Kovacs Kunsthandel has successfully introduced a new form of sustainable quality assurance in the antiques and art market.
New methods are used to certify the authenticity of each piece. An unparalleled degree of; meticulous handling, more precise descriptions and even more profound basic research than hitherto, as well as the application of appropriate technology are the hallmarks of the authentication process.
The data collected and the related findings are subsequently incorporated in the C-Card. The card constitutes documentary evidence, providing a precise description of the item in artistic and technical terms current at the time of issuance.
